Welcome to the 29th Annual Aldbrough Village Show.
A flower or horticulture show has been run in Aldbrough for many years. The first show was recorded as far back the late 1800's, held in the village school.
From 1976 to 1996 the Womens Institute ran the Aldbrough Produce Show which was held at Stamford Hall, before moving to the new village hall in 1991.
The present show has been running since then, with some of the original committee members still in post!
The show schedule has classes for all ages and abilities in Craft, Art, Photography, Baking, Flowers, Vegetables, and Childrens classes which are well supported by the Aldbrough Primary School.
We invite you to participate in entering the show. No matter if you are a novice in showing, our stewards will be there to guide you along.
If you have not been to the show before, come along and have a look around.
We feel sure you will be surprised at the amount of entries and skills displayed.
We are always looking for new people to join us, for a few hours on show day or even join the committee, extra help is always required in setting up and clearing away.
Keep up to date with our new website and facebook page.
Next year is our 30th anniversary so we will have to do something special!

Why not enter your gardens into the competition!
The Garden competition celebrates our love of gardens and plants.
Its not Chelsea - we are not looking for immaculate gardens - its a celebration of the pleasure we get from gardening and a bit of fun!
Why not enter? Entry forms are in the Village Show Schedule or you can download it from this site.
The categories are listed below.....
The gardens are judged one late afternoon/early evening in late June. We telephone to let you know which evening. The judges are avid gardeners and enthusiastic about plants - other than that - very ordinary people !
We love to walk around and enjoy meeting people who enjoy their gardens.
The trophies are a bonus and are awarded at the Village Show. Gardeners get to keep them for 11 months then return them so we can repeat the process.
We look forward to seeing lots of gardens and meeting their enthusiastic owners
